Young people are increasingly looking for new media that provides interaction and connection with their peers.
GTA’s Pathways to Success Podcast enables students to take control of where and when they want information and immerses them in an authentic real life career conversation.
Often students know more about university courses than they do about Vocational and Technical Education (VTE) and yet in most fields of study there are both university and VTE options to choose from. GTA’s first Pathways to Success Podcast brings to life the real world experience of being an apprentice, through an interview with the apprentice, his mum, host employer and group training field officer.
“Opportunities to start a career in the trades have never been better,” according to James Barron, CEO Group Training Australia. “With the current skill shortages there will be an increasing and ongoing demand for skilled tradespeople across a wide range of industries so it’s a great time to be starting out with group training.”
