GTA Research Framework and Prospectus

Group Training Australia Ltd (GTA) has developed a new policy and research agenda. The platform to achieve this is based on a recently created dedicated policy and research capacity; and from the strong position of a national member network grounded in more than twenty five years of practice in the field. The multi-industry nature of the work our members do provides both a horizontal slice across industry and the capacity for in-depth research. The diversity of our network also brings a further dimension to our policy development and research potential.

Our purpose is to focus on the kind of research needed by the sector to influence the policy environment for group training; and the development of the research base and policy thinking needed to place Group Training Australia at the forefront for Governments and others, as the national employer voice on VET issues including but not limited to apprenticeship and traineeship.

The GTA National Research Framework outlines the broad parameters of this new research function within GTA. The GTA Research Prospectus provides an extensive menu of research projects which GTA proposes to pursue in partnership and/or commission over the next few years.
