The BBQ Dinner Poolside at Cairns International and Hartley’s Creek Crocodile Farm Tour & Buffet Dinner can be booked when registering. 1. Hartley’s Creek Crocodile Farm $149 per adult and $65 per child 16 and under Buses will depart Cairns at 6:00pm for a 35 minute drive up the coast to Hartley’s. On arrival, you will be supplied with a torch and escorted along the boardwalks spotlighting nocturnal animals and crocodiles. From the specially designed amphitheatre, you will see a huge estuarine (saltwater) crocodile hand fed in a presentation which also features Australia’s indigenous freshwater crocodile. You will then have the opportunity to have a photo taken of you holding a LIVE baby crocodile while enjoying a welcoming drink and canapés. Before dinner you will cruise the still waters of Hartley’s Lagoon and experience the domain of the Saltwater Crocodile in its natural habitat. You will then move to Lilies Restaurant for a BBQ Dinner including beer, wine and soft drinks before heading back to Cairns. Buses depart Cairns at 6:00pm with an expected return time of 10:30pm. 2. BBQ Dinner Poolside at Cairns International Hotel $54.50 per adult and $25 per child 14 and under Walk to Cairns International and head towards the pool deck for a casual BBQ Dinner with colleagues. Price includes a welcome drink and a BBQ Dinner. A cash bar will be available on the night. 3. Cairns Inlet Dinner Cruise (Please book on the tours section of the conference website) $109 per adult and $60 per child 14 and under Enjoy dinner on a luxurious catamaran while cruising on the calm waters of Trinity Inlet. With a glass of champagne in hand, stroll the decks and savour the sights of the city by night. Enjoy a sumptuous 4 course hot & cold buffet (including seafood) featuring some of the region’s best produce mouth watering prawns, oysters, reef fish & exotic platters of fruit all freshly prepared on board. As the moon rises, the gentle strumming of the guitar commences. Savour the moment. Price includes a glass of champagne on arrival, all other drinks cash on the night. Cruise departs at 6:30pm and returns at 9:30pm. 4. Tjapukai by Night (Please book on the tours section of the conference website) $109 per adult and $60 per child 514, children under 5 not catered for, excluding drinks Come and join the traditional people of this land in a specially crafted evening that lets you learn not only about Tjapukai Aboriginal Culture, but also experience it in the most powerful and personal way. Fire explosions, spectacular special effects, music and dance as giant spirits come to life and take you on a Dreamtime journey. The evening finishes with a sumptuous buffet dinner and performance by the World Famous Tjapukai Dancers. Buses depart Cairns at 6:20pm and return at 10:30pm. |
